Answering the Call of God

God has a purpose for everyone's life. It is imperative to earnestly seek God for His purpose for your life. Remember no one can ever stop you from responding nor moving toward your God given purpose. The first step is to establish a relationship with God by creating a time to daily meet with God. For instance, each morning set a time in which you would read your Bible with an opened heart and mind for God to speak to you. Then, expect God to respond either through His Word or speaking to your heart. Begin by inviting God to speak to you, I call it bidding God to come close to you. Next, let God know you are listening, by saying, "Lord speak, your child is waiting to hear." Then as an action of faith say, "thank you Lord, for speaking." You are now engaging into a dialogue with God. Continue to read your Bible or wait in expectation. God is going to speak. As you daily meet with God, He will reveal your purpose. Be sure to journal your thoughts and feelings, including the date, and time this is important information during your time of reflection.
